The rules that govern use of our website, our journal, and the research we publish. Short version: read freely, reuse with attribution, act in good faith.

1. Acceptance of these terms
These terms govern your use of the Neuravox Foundation website (neuravox.org), our journal (journal.neuravox.org), and the materials we publish on them. By using these services you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, please do not use the services.
Neuravox Foundation is an independent public interest research organization based in Kampala, Uganda.
2. Use of the website
You may browse, read, download, and print materials from our website and journal for personal, educational, research, and other lawful purposes. We may change, suspend, or discontinue any part of the services at any time without notice.
3. Published research and licensing
Unless a specific publication states otherwise, research, briefs, and articles published by Neuravox Foundation may be shared, quoted, translated, and adapted, provided you attribute the work clearly to Neuravox Foundation and its named authors, indicate whether changes were made, and do not imply that we endorse your use.
Attribution is expected for any reuse. Some materials may carry their own licence terms, and third party content quoted or reproduced in our publications remains subject to the rights of its original owners. If you wish to use our work at scale or for commercial purposes, write to contact@neuravox.org first.
4. Acceptable use
When using our services, you agree not to:
- Misrepresent our research, alter its meaning, or attribute to us statements we did not make.
- Use the services to harass, defame, or harm others, or to distribute unlawful content.
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems, or disrupt or degrade the services.
- Scrape or harvest personal data of any person from the services.
- Use our name, logo, or identity to suggest endorsement without written permission.
5. Third party links and services
Our website may link to external sites and relies on third party services such as Formspree for our contact form. We are not responsible for the content, policies, or practices of third parties, and links do not imply endorsement.
6. No warranties
Our services and publications are provided on an as is and as available basis. While we work carefully, we make no warranties, express or implied, about the completeness, accuracy, reliability, or availability of the services or the information they contain. Research findings reflect the evidence and context available at the time of publication and may be revised.

7. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Neuravox Foundation, its directors, staff, and partners shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the services or any materials published on them. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
8. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Uganda. Any dispute arising from these terms or your use of the services shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Uganda, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protections you hold in your own jurisdiction.
9. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top of this page reflects the latest revision, and continued use of the services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
